Another Interview

I seem to popping up everywhere these days. This interview was published a few weeks back in the Belfast Telegraph's Business section. Nice to be asked – and finally a bit of local exposure. Props to Chris Harrison for the PR here.

Menswear

I've recently hooked up with a small, exclusive menswear brand nineteenthirty to create some new illustrations. Here's the first illustration I've created for their new range of 4oz. eco cotton backpacks.

Nineteenthirty's Bronagh also kitted me out with this swish new shirt (for when I finally find the time to go out somewhere nice). I'll also be helping to dress the walls of Nineteenthirty's new retail venture on Belfast's Lisburn Road this December – pictures to come.

And let no-one know until I'm gone

Interviews

I've been CRAZY busy recently. Jobs are flying in from everywhere after a chilled summer period. It's been quite exciting this week especially, as I've been approached for interviews about Hand Drawn Creative. First by the Belfast Telegraph (expect this story to be out on 25 October).

A few hours after this interview, I was called by Enterprise Nation in London for another phone interview which profiled my company history in readiness for my appearance at their Go Global conference on London's South Bank in November.

Relocation Part 2

Hi again chaps. I've shifted things around, got a few pictures on the walls and got the trusty Mac up & running. All this, along with yesterday's delivery of a seriously cool Eames Loungechair & Ottoman means it's finally time to show you all the guts of the new & improved Hand Drawn Creative office!

Belfast Culture Night (Part 2)

We actually made it up to the Culture Night in the end. My Lara Croft piece was up & lots more top class illustration was on show too. My favourites were definitely by Julie Turkington, Mark Reihill & Matthew Knight on the night. The second Belfast Culture Night seemed to be in full swing when we left. I'll try & come up sans kids next year to get the full effect of the evening. Prams can be a nightmare at these big events.

 

 

Gamer Culture at Belfast Culture Night

I'm leaving the house tonight (a rare occurrence these days) to pop out to Belfast Culture Night, where I'm taking part in Bag of Bees' Gamer Culture Exhibition Should be a blast, I'll take the camera up to get a few snaps to upload in due course. In the meantime, here's my entry up close…

Land of Hope & Gloria

Off on holiday this week, so the Etsy store will be on Vacation Mode until Saturday, when I'll be back in business with this new screenprint (modelled by Jules). It's my second homage to the Kinks. Number three (Waterloo Sunset) will be hot on its heels.

Sold Out…

Massive thanks to all customers who bought my first of three Kinks screenprints in August. It sold out in only a few days. There must be a lot of Kinks fans out there (like myself). Print #2 is on its way at this week
